Judy L Fogle

Princeton - Judy Lynn Fogle passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at 79. She was born in Sterling, Illinois, on January 18, 1945, to Walter Sr. and Marjorie (Herrell) Arthurs. On October 28, 1967, she married David Clifton Fogle in Sterling (admittedly the best day of his life). Depending on how you knew her, she was either Judy or Lynn. When creating her Christmas cards, she insisted on only printing "The Fogles" since not all her friends knew her by the same name. She fiercely loved her friends and had a social calendar full of lunch dates that could compete with anyone. She amassed a great group of friends in her 47 years working for Jostens (now MTM). She couldn't go to town without running into someone she knew. In all her years there, she missed very few days. She went to work because that's where her friends were. The same goes for her years at Sullivan's. She loved baking for others, attending church and WMA meetings, riding on the trike with her husband, eating out, visiting her daughters in Florida, playing board games with her grandchildren, feeding fish in the timber, spending time with her sister, Vera, catching up on her "story" (The Young and the Restless), and shopping with her "ride or die," Kathy. She loved to keep busy. She was incredibly tough, always looking at the positive side of things, and would never give up. Those who loved her best knew that despite her pleasant façade, incredible feistiness and sass were waiting to be unleashed. Those who remain and are desperately missing her include her husband, Dave; her daughters Erin (Jason) Olson and Darci Fogle (Benjamin Foeks); her grandchildren Benjamin and Lauren; and her sidekick Kathy Lampkin. We are comforted to know that she has joined her parents and three siblings-June, Norma, and Vera-in Heaven.
