Kathleen M. "Katie" Hildebrand 1924-2012 Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Kathleen M. "Katie" Hildebrand, age 87 of Princeton, on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the St. Louis Catholic Church. Father Jeffery Stirniman and Deacon John Murphy will officiate. Burial will follow in the Elm Lawn Memorial Park on May 16, 2012. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Norberg Memorial Home, with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM. Mrs. Hildebrand passed away on Friday, May 11, 2012 at Heartland Health Care Center, in Henry. She was born on Jul 23, 1924 in Peterstown, IL to Theodore and Rose (Flanagan) Happ. She graduated from Malden High School. Katie married Dale Hildebrand on Feb 10, 1945 at St. Patrick's Church in Arlington. Katie worked at Montgomery Ward in Princeton, was a life-long homemaker and also worked as a floral designer for Flowers by Julia in Princeton. She was an active member of St. Louis Catholic Church, the CCW and the prayer chain. Katie's favorite past-time was attending activities that her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were involved in and spending time with her husband, daughters and friends. She also loved watching Chicago Cubs games. Katie is survived by her husband of 67 years, Dale Hildebrand of Princeton. They had four daughters Barbara-deceased (Merrill) Pinter of Kewanee, Teresa (Jim) Jensen of Plano, Donna (John) Bouchard of Ottawa and Betty (Ron) Kastor of Malden. Katie is also survived by 15 grandchildren; Dr. Scott (Jennifer) Pinter of Bloomington, Paula (Mike) Nichols of Kewanee, Mark (Erin) Pinter of Chandler, AZ, Brad (Megan) Pinter of Chandler, AZ, David (Lupe) Jensen of Cumming, GA, Diana Jensen of Aurora, Kevin (Jackie) Jensen of Oswego, Andy Morse of Glendale, AZ, Brent Morse of Plainfield, Dr. Richard Morse of Boston, MA, Mandi Gross of Princeton, Angie (Dj) Johnson of Greenville, SC, Eric Kastor of Bloomington, Adam Kastor of Bloomington, and Laura Kastor of Malden. Katie and Dale also have 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her two brothers Jim and Jerome Happ of La Salle-Peru. Memorials may be directed to the family for charitable disbursement.
