Cleo Louise Sims Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Peru – Cleo Louise Sims, 85, of Peru, IL passed away in her home on Monday, September 30, 2019, with her daughter Susan at her side. Cleo was born on March 5, 1934 to the late Delmar and Margaret (Conant) Green in Zearing, Illinois. She married the late Earl Robert “Bob” Sims on March 4, 1950. She owned several businesses in the area including a restaurant, door closer manufacturing and tool & die company. She is a member of Faith Church in Peru, IL and YMCA Yoga Classes. Cleo is survived by her daughter, Susan Ringle of West Allis, WI and one son, Patrick Sims, two grandchildren, Zach Jensen and Sophie Ringle both of Wisconsin. She is preceded in death by her parents, her spouse Robert Sims and one son, Michael Sims. A visitation will be held for Cleo at Norberg Memorial Home, Inc. & Monuments on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Services will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Norberg Memorial Home, Inc. & Monuments, officiated by Reverend Steve Adamson.
