Joyce Eggers Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

PRINCETON — Joyce A. Eggers, 76, of 310 W. Marquette St., Princeton, died at 4 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007, at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton. Born April 22, 1931, in Princeton to John and Frances (Dingman) Malm, she married George E. Eggers July 31, 1949, in Princeton. He survives. She retired from the medical records department of Perry Memorial Hospital in 1984 after 18 years of service. She was a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church in Princeton. Also surviving are four children, Michael (Sue) Eggers, Patricia Olds, George E. (Joan) Eggers Jr. and Kathy (Charlie) Evans, all of Princeton; one brother, Jack (Phylis) Malm of Princeton; 13 grandchildren, John (Karen) Eggers, Tim (Brittney) Eggers, Melissa Eggers, Alicia de Sa, Amanda Olds, Brad (Silva) Eggers, Chris Eggers, Matt Eggers, Shana (Tim) May, Bobbie Jo Evans, Marco (Brenda) Evans, Angie Evans and Jennifer Evans; and 19 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Evangelical Covenant Church, Princeton, with the Rev. John Weborg officiating. Burial will be in Elm Lawn Memorial Park, Princeton. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today, Tuesday, in the Norberg Memorial Home, Princeton, and one hour before the services Wednesday in the church. Memorials may be directed to the Evangelical Covenant Church or Bureau Valley Hospice.
