Princeton - Lynda Sue Fenwick passed away in evening of Friday, March 18, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her loved ones. Lynda was born June 24, 1938 to the late John and Virginia (Conner) Nyman in Princeton, IL. She married her love Robert Fenwick on September 14, 1956. They celebrated 65 years of marriage together. She is survived by her husband Robert Fenwick of Princeton, IL; one sister Jackie Woolley of Princeton, IL; two children, Missy (Kevin) Harvey of Princeton, IL and Jeff (Mary) Fenwick of Lexington, KY; Her heart, her six grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren, Tonya (Chris) Baker of Fayetteville, NC, Lindsey Paxton of Princeton, IL, Jennifer (Brenton) Correll of FL, Anna (Phillip) Coble of Taylorsville, KY, Dr. Alex (Allison) Fenwick of Lexington, KY and Dr. Elizabeth (Coy) Phillips of Lexington, KY; and great grandchildren, Riese, Rylie, Ryan, Remi, Harper, Charlotte and Evelynn of Fayetteville, NC, Brayden and Ryder Paxton of Tiskilwa, IL, Warren Phillips of Lexington, KY Henry and Caroline Fenwick of Lexington, KY and Lennon and Everett Coble of Taylorsville, KY and Samuel and Emma Correll of FL. Lynda worked at the Bureau County Courthouse for over 20 years. She detasseled corn and worked at the A & W Root Beer Stand in Princeton. She also worked at Furnace Electric in Batavia, IL. She was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Princeton, IL. She will be missed by many but especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren who some of them knew her by "pumpkin" and "Queen Mother". Her coffee group every morning, and the girls that made her feel so pretty every week Kim, Amanda, Brittany and Brook. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for charitable distribution in Lynda's name. She loved so many things, it's hard to pick just one. A visitation will be held for Lynda at The New Hope Church of the Nazarene, 30 North 6th St, Princeton, IL. Tuesday, March 22, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Services to follow visitation on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at The New Hope Church of the Nazarene, at 12:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Laura Root-Tanner of the New Hope Church of the Nazarene and Pastor Scott Schmidt of St. Matthews Lutheran Church, music by Pastor Sarah Ruggerio of The New Hope Church of the Nazarene. Graveside services to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Oakland Cemetery in Princeton, IL. Officiated by Pastor Tanner and Pastor Schmidt.
