Nancy Ellen Lorang

Princeton - Nancy Ellen "Boom Boom" Lorang from Princeton, IL passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at OSF St. Francis in Peoria, IL. Nancy was born on December 18, 1948 to the late William E. Lange and Marjorie Carol (Cass) Lange. She was a graduate from Princeton High School, Class of 1966. She worked at LCN until she retired in 2008. Nancy later worked in the Walmart bakery until 2019. She was a long time member of the Princeton Moose Lodge. She enjoyed bowling, knitting, collecting angel figurines, fill in puzzles, watching General Hospital and Wheel of Fortune. She also enjoyed cooking for everyone, and was especially known for her novelty cakes. Nancy was always the life of the party. No matter what she always had a positive attitude. Encouraging to others, and made sure you always knew she loved your and told you so. She loved her grandchildren unconditionally and was very active in their lives, she will be deeply missed by so many, but mostly by her children. Nancy is survived by her two daughters, Shannon (Randy) Allen of Kasbeer, IL and Nicole (Dion) Moore of Kewanee, IL; three siblings, William C. Lange of Gig Harbor, WA, Jeannie (Jerry) King of Princeton, IL, Lori (Pete) Christian of Wenona, IL; five grandchildren, Elise Holmes, Kaylene Gibbs (Nick Nolte), Garrett Allen, Tyzaiah Moore, Damarion Moore; two great grandchildren, Jasheh Holmes and Carson Nolte; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Nancy also had many "bonus Kids" who she will be greatly missed by as well. Preceded Nancy in death is her father, William E. Lange, her mothers, Marjorie Carol (Cass) Lange and Verna (Duffield) Lange. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Norberg Memorial Home, Inc. & Monuments in Princeton, IL.
