Pamela Gaylord Crowder

Princeton – Pamela Gaylord Crowder, 70, of Princeton passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at OSF St. Francis in Peoria, IL. Pam was born to the late Charles and Margaret (Stewart) Gaylord on April 28, 1950 in Anaheim, CA. She was a graduate of Rubidoux High School in Rubidoux, CA. She worked in sales and then for the Bureau County Circuit Clerks Court House in the passport and jury duty department, retiring in 2014. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and spent many hours volunteering for the church as well as assisting with Vacation Bible School. She enjoyed crocheting and reading. She was a big fan of murder mysteries and Agatha Christy was her favorite authors. She enjoyed gardening and yard work. She like going garage sales and flea markets, looking for buried treasures or just finding a good deal. Pam loved to travel and was an amazing story teller regarding her adventures and the places she had visited or lived in her past. She was absolutely fearless when came to a new adventure. She was a true Christian who walked the walk and talked the talk. She will be greatly missed by her son, Joshua, family and many friends she has made along the way. Pam is survived by one son, Joshua Baker of Princeton; one grandchildren Tony Carlson; two great grandchildren, Eben and Arayah Popplewell; one brother Tyrone (Betty) Gaylord; one sister-in-law, Mararet Gaylord; her four legged companion Miss Molly; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Margaret Gaylord, two brothers Shawn Gaylord and Chuck Gaylord, two sisters, Martha Gaylord and Donna Gaylord.
