Princeton, IL - Beau Ryan Harp, 50, of Princeton, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at OSF St. Clare surrounded by his loving family. Beau, born on December 13, 1973, in Princeton, Illinois, to Vernon Harp and Linda (Wolford) Peterson. Graduated from Walnut High School and continued his education at various institutions, ultimately earning a Master's Degree. He married his love and life partner, Amy Anderson, on July 12, 1997, in Walnut, Illinois. Together, they built a beautiful life and a loving family, having three children and embarking on life's journey. Professionally, Beau was the Vice President of Engineering at LRS Waste Management, where he was known for his dedication, leadership, and work ethic. He was a valued member of the community and deeply respected by his colleagues. Beau attended Walnut Community Bible Church in Walnut, IL. His faith was central to his life, and he found great joy in serving and contributing to the church community. Beau's greatest joy in life was always his family. He was a devoted husband and loving father, always finding ways to support and encourage his children, Drew, Ellie, and Sophie. Beau was a constant presence at their extracurricular activities, from football, volleyball, and basketball to softball, band, and choir. His enthusiasm for his children's endeavors was unmatched. He loved all sports, football held a special place in his heart. He cherished the fall and winter seasons, supporting his son watching North Central College teams and his beloved Minnesota Vikings. His children often joined him in cheering on the teams he loved. Beau was known for his warmth, generosity, and sense of humor. He had a magnetic personality and was a friend to all. His legacy of love, devotion to his family, and passion for life will continue to inspire those who knew him. Beau is survived by his wife of 27 years Amy Harp of Princeton; his three children, Drew, Ellie, and Sophie all of Princeton, IL his father, Vernon (Tammy) Harp, Jr. of Rockford, IL; mother and father-in-law, Larry and Kathy Anderson of Walnut, IL; brother, Bryan (Katie) Harp of Batavia, IL and Brock (Jillian) Harp of Earlville, IL; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins., Bret (Beth) Harp of Rockford, IL; sister Brooke Harp of Rockford, IL and brother-in-law David (Tina) Anderson of Ohio, IL; step father Charles Peterson of Walnut, IL. as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded n death by his mother Linda Alice Wolford Peterson, grandparents Vernon L Harp, Sr. and Florence (Parker) Hark and Dario Wolford and Betty Wolford. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Walnut community Bible church.
