Donna L. Crow

Princeton, IL - Donna Lucille Crow, formerly of Princeton, IL, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2026 in Crystal River, FL, surrounded by the love of her family that came together from Illinois, South Carolina, and Florida. Donna was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, partner, and friend whose kindness and compassion touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She devoted her life to her family and found great joy in caring for those she loved. She is survived by her five children: Johnna Patterson (Jerry Beckman), John Patterson (Andre Patterson), Amanda McElhinney (Chris Keeler), Sheena McElhinney (David Stead), and Will McElhinney. Donna was also the proud grandmother of ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved deeply and cherished beyond measure. She is also survived by her loving partner, Rick Depauw; her mother, Patricia Patterson; numerous siblings; and her beloved pets - six dogs and four cats who brought her endless happiness and companionship. Donna was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Crow, her sister, Shirley Motz, her brother, Bill Crow and her beloved grandson, Branson Ball. Donna had a huge heart for animals and found great happiness in caring for them. She also loved plants and took pride in her collection of angel figurines, which reflected her gentle and caring spirit. She will be remembered for her devotion to family, her compassion for others, and the comfort and love she so freely gave. Her memory will live on through the many people and animals she loved throughout her life. She will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and lovingly remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing her. A visitation to honor Donna's life will be held on Saturday. May 24, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Norberg Memorial Home, Inc. & Monuments. Family and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate her life. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with graveside services at the Sheffield Cemetery in Sheffield, IL.
