Linda Bickett

Princeton - Linda Bickett passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 4, 2025, in Dalzell, IL, at an assisted living facility, with her loved ones by her side. She was born on May 25, 1936, in Sterling, IL, to the late Theodore Brainard and Ruth Gloden Brainard. Linda was a proud graduate of Princeton High School, Class of 1954. She married the love of her life, Kenneth Bickett, on June 9, 1957, in Princeton. Together they built a beautiful life rooted in family, farming, and faith. Linda embodied the proverbial farmer's wife-hardworking, devoted, and steadfast-and she also enjoyed her time working at the Greasy Spoon café, where her kind spirit and warm smile were known to many. Creative and full of energy, Linda loved making crafts, honestly there wasn't a lot she couldn't do, playing bingo and any kind of cards, and bowling. Above all, she cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life and brought her so much joy. She is survived by her son, Shannon (Vickie) Bickett of Princeton, IL; her grandchildren Jason "Tank" (Kim) Bickett of Princeton, IL, Kristin (Nathan) Mangrich of Princeton, IL, Blair (Callie) Bickett of Peru, IL, and Trevor (McKenna) Bickett of Oklahoma City, OK; and her great-grandchildren Easton Mangrich, Teagan Mangrich, Cora Bickett, Hadley Bickett, Beau Bickett, and Stetson Bickett. She is also remembered by many extended relatives, dear friends, and loved ones whose lives she touched along the way. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Ruth Brainard; her husband, Kenneth Bickett; her son, Teddie Bickett; and her brother, Charles Brainard. Inlieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for various charitable distribution. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Norberg Memorial Home, Inc. & Monuments from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Services to follow at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Lisa Bloome, immediately following graveside services at Elm Lawn Memorial Park, Princeton, IL. Pallbearers will be Jason Bickett, Blair Bickett, Trevor Bickett, Nathan Mangrich, Kim Bickett, Tom Bickett, and Steve Linker.
