Linda Joyce Glynn

Princeton - Linda Joyce Harris Glynn, 75, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 peacefully in her sleep, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Linda was born on January 28, 1946 to Johnnie and Annie (Gore) Harris. She acquired her GED and became a waitress and CNA. Later on her life she was a stay at home Mom. She was married to Denny Glynn with whom she shares two children. She also shares three children with her former husband Roland Harris. In her later years she and Roland rekindled their friendship and love. He passed in her home and she missed him terribly. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping. She was an exceptional cook and loved bowling. At one time she even owned her own Harley Davidson and drove a semi. She had a zest for life and knew how to dress for the occasion. Linda loved playing cards and spent many hours with her family doing so. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Linda had a deep love for Jesus and is welcomed into the arms of her Savior in Heaven. Linda is survived by her by four children, Rhonda (Dave) Martin of Peru, IL., Denise (Patrick Schaffer) White of Mineral, IL., DJ (Elizabeth) Glynn of Magnolia, IL., Jenna (William Balensiefen) Glynn of Bureau, IL; eleven grandchildren, Amber, Elizabeth, Brian, Tyler, Brenda, Rebecca, Landon, Dylan, Gage, Elimae, and Gunner and nine Great- Grandchildren. She is survived by one sister, Joelle Storm of LaSalle, IL, and three brothers: Joe Harris of Princeton IL, Julian Harris of Princeton, IL and David (Susan) Harris of Dayton, Tennessee. She had a large extended family but being an Aunt and Great Aunt to her nieces and nephews brought her great joy. Linda shared a connection to many pets over the years including many dogs and even a horse. Pallbearers for Linda will be as follows: Landon Glynn, Eric Worden, Justin Hungerford, William Balensiefen, Dave Martin and Mike Battaglia. She is preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Katrina Anderson, her sisters Jean Welsh and BeBe Jewel, and her brother-in-law, Douglas Storm. Visitation for Linda will be held at Norberg Memorial Home, Inc. on Thursday, January 20th, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be immediately following the visitation at 12:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Cameron Graper.
